Hello again :)

i use a senao 2.4 GHz card in my wrap.
lspci:
0000:00:0d.0 Network controller: Intersil Corporation Prism 2.5 Wavelan
chipset (rev 01)

dmesg from hostap:
hostap_crypt: registered algorithm 'NULL'
hostap_pci: 0.2.6 - 2004-12-25 (Jouni Malinen <jkmaline at cc.hut.fi>)
hostap_pci: Registered netdevice wifi0
wifi0: Original COR value: 0xb
prism2_hw_init: initialized in 200 ms
wifi0: NIC: id=0x8013 v1.0.0
wifi0: PRI: id=0x15 v1.1.0
wifi0: STA: id=0x1f v1.4.9
wifi0: defaulting to bogus WDS frame as a workaround for firmware bug in
Host AP mode WDS
wifi0: Intersil Prism2.5 PCI: mem=0xa0000000, irq=12
wifi0: registered netdevice wlan0

but later:
orinoco.c 0.13e (David Gibson <hermes at gibson.dropbear.id.au> and others)
orinoco_pci.c 0.13e (David Gibson <hermes at gibson.dropbear.id.au> & Jean
Tourrilhes <jt at hpl.hp.com>)

i think the card doesnt need the orinoco. perhaps orinoco also supports
the prism2.5, but the hostap should be the right for that.

anybody with that card?

i have also a cm9 atheros, works perfect.

regards
