[Voyage-linux] bridging atheros to ethernet

First let me say thanks to Punky for the kernel update with the latest
madwifi cvs code. It still crashes my old net4501, but works great on a
net4521 I have. The old 4501 may just be getting flaky.

Second, the net4521 is equipped with an AR5004 mini-pci card. I have
set it up to temporarily provide a wireless link to a pc in a backroom
that is hard to reach with cat5 cable. The atheros link works fine as a
dhcp client when in routed mode, i.e., running nat with different
subnets for the ath0 and local eth0. It is connecting to a Linksys
WRT54G AP.

When I try to bridge the ath0 and eth0 on the above so that the pc will
be on the same subnet as the rest of the home network, the ath0 cannot
negotiate the dhcp lease. The bridging setup goes through all the usual
steps and seems to setup ok, but still no dhcp. I haven't tried it with
a static address on the bridge. The same bridged network config works
fine with a prism 802.11b wireless card.

Have any others had trouble bridging atheros with ethernet?
