[Voyage-linux] voyage-0.1 and VIA EPIA?

Has anyone tried to boot voyage-0.1 on VIA EPIA hardware? I've built a 
CF card using the PC option (#4) and it begins the boot process but then 
fails on not being able to mount root:

kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k block-major-3 errno = 2
VFS: Cannot open root device "301" or 03:01
Please append a correct "root=" boot option
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 03:01

Does anyone have any ideas?
