[Voyage-linux] sloooow boot time

I went into /etc/hotplug and deleted all of the pci stuff.  The changed 
the boot time to about 2.5 minutes.   So I guess probing for pci was 
taking the bulk of the time.   It is not hooked up to a network, that is 
taking some of the time.  I now think the usb probe may be slowing it 
down now.
