My wpa_psk file is of the form:-

00:00:00:00:00:00 [63 hex characters]

and was created by:-

"wpa_passphrase myssid password > /etc/hostapd/wpa_psk""

and then editing the resultant file to add the leading 00:... and remove
everything else. I have checked that I didn't accidentally change the output
by running the command again (without the redirect) and comparing the output
with what's in the file, and it all seems to match.

I haven't tested with the 63 hex characters actually in the hostapd.conf
file...but will have a go this evening when I return from work.

Thanks again

Regards

Robin
