Actually, what I did is downloaded the package directly from hostapd's
site (http://hostap.epitest.fi/releases/hostapd-0.4.5.tar.gz),
compiled it (on my pc), and copied the resulting binary to my WRAP's
compact flash (overwriting the old "/usr/sbin/hostapd").

I know it is not the 'Debian' way, but it works like a charm.
