I don't understand you have to add an access point into the mix ..
Do you mean you have this site in cliente mode and need an AP mode?
If so you should use an atheros card (if you don't have already) and use 
madwifi driver. With this you can
use 2 VAP to do exactly this.

I'm not really shure what do you want to do so ...
