[Voyage-linux] How to update ipw2200 driver to support master mode

I am running  voyage-0.2pre4.tar.gz 
<http://voyage.hk/download/voyage/voyage-0.2pre4.tar.gz> on my Soekeris 
4511 and have a intel minipci 2200bg running as well. I know the ipw2200 
project doesnt support master mode as yet. What is the way to update the 
driver to suppose ap made, I want to set it up as an AP in bridged mode 
with my linksys wrt54g (using wds?). There is a project on SF for using 
the 2200bg as an AP, http://sourceforge.net/projects/ipw2200-ap , how do 
I load these drivers onto my voyage-box
