Hi Bill,
The ubuntu 2.6.15 kernel is heavy patched. It is more advanced and a
lot closer to 2.6.16/17. I didn't patch any ieee80211. It comes with
the ubuntu kernel. But I can compile it successfully with make-kpkg.
Moreover, I have lost the the original ubuntu source so that I can trace it.
The latest ubuntu kernel I am using have no such problem. I will upload
the latest kernel to my contrib directory on alpha shortly, so that can
test it.
