[Voyage-linux] Package configuration issue with ed in 0.3pre1

Punky,

I'm getting the following when running any apt-get commands.  Oddly 
enough, this didn't occur with the Nov 16 current tarball I used a 
couple of days ago.  An easy fix?

sh: /usr/share/info/ed.info.gz: No such file or directory
install-info(/usr/share/info/ed.info.gz):
dpkg: error processing ed (--configure):
 subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 ed
emach:~#

ppp is removed correctly but I always get the complaint about 
configuring ed.

Also, there seems to be an issue with Perl and LC_ALL.  A quick Google 
indicated that

LC_ALL=C;export LC_ALL (added to .bashrc)

does indeed make the complaints go away but not sure if that's the best fix.
