Punky,

I'm testing my wiki page "how_do_i_install_voyage-current_on_a_usb_flash_drive_with_extlinux" and when I run the ./usr/local/sbin/voyage.update script the first time boot hangs with "Init: no more process left in this runlevel"

If I just copy the voyage-current file system with rsync ( Install voyage on usb key option 1), the system boots ok.

I do not belive this has anything to do with the use of extlinux. I'm not sure how to run the voyage.update script with grub. On the staging system the target is /dev/sdb. This will become /dev/sda when it boots.

I'm going to give voyage.update a try. I'm booting USB only, and I'm unable to use /dev/hda for testing.

PS. Danny W. Adair, Thank you for writing the wiki page. It put me on the trail to booting from usb drives.

HI,

voyage-current is based in Debian Etch, you would expect the whole
distro will be updated from time to time until it is released by Dec 06.

You will foresee the kernel will be updated with more features, and
iptables part will be updated as well.

I hope to release 0.3pre1 very soon. I only need to update README and
changelog before I can release it.
