I unpacked the voyage linux environment twice. The second one is only
used to build software such that everything is linked against the
correct version (crucial for kernel modules). This way, the deployed
(first one) image will not be bloated by the gcc, headers and so on.

So I did a chroot to my build environment, installed gcc... via apt-get
and compiled all I needed. In the next step I copied the resulting files
to the "clean" environment so they will be included in the resulting image.
