[Voyage-linux] loses wlan cards..

Is this also an issue with 0.4?  The capability of pre-configuring a CF 
and then swapping it out in the field is crucial until we have a safe 
in-place upgrade scheme.

I've already been bitten by inconsistent device discovery causing a 
non-functioning system following a simple reboot.
