[Voyage-linux] voyage & emp/nmp-8602 woes

I'm having problems getting madwifi to bring up ath0 with my new
emp-8602 mini-pci card in my routerboard 230. Madwifi was working fine
with the previous card, a CM9. I suspected there was a hardware issue
with the new card since the old card was fine, but Routerboard assures
me that there's no new BIOS updates, and that my problem is the driver.
Perhaps the version of madwifi in voyage is too old to support the 8602?
Linux AW1 2.6.14-486-voyage #1 PREEMPT Wed Jan 4 07:21:53 GMT 2006 i586

Failed to bring up ath0.
Is there a way to update madwifi with my version of voyage without
starting over, since it's built into the kernel? I tried just doing
apt-get install of madwifi-ng-modules-2.6.15-486-voyage, but that didn't
have any effect.
Thanks,
Drew
