Hi there

Just wanted to let you know about my try to use Voyage Linux with an
Option GTM378 (UMTS/HDSPA/...) card on an ALIX 6b board.

The GTM378 card requires a driver called "hso". It will be included in
maintream 2.6.27 kernel. i can compile it with 2.6.23-486-voyage but it's
not stable (crashing the system now and then). So i took 2.6.26 and
recompiled with geode option, unionfs patch and leds-alix module.

No more crashes, but also the card said "no signal". After checking
antennas and 1000 other things (not counting hours), i removed the leds-
alix modul and then signal quality was good. No idea what the link is
between leds and the miniPCI-e card.

If anybody is interested, I wrote also an script to control the setup of
the interface, i can provide it.

- Thomas
