I have found a problem with the mii-tool and the Alix 2-2 Ethernet
driver. Mii-tool doesn't seem to be able to control the Ethernet
drivers to hard set or auto neg. I found this out whilst doing some
tests, I discovered that mii-tool would report the link as one thing and
the dmesg would tell me another thing. The version I am using is
attached.
Is there a fix/ or related bug for this?
The below is an email I sent to Yawarra:

Sorry for the delay in responding. I'm afraid we don't have any
experience with mii-tool, so I don't know what the issue might be.
Have you tried asking the question on the Voyage list?
