[Voyage-linux] XR3-3.65 Ubiquiti radios with Voyage

Before I post all the nitty-gritty of my problems with these cards, has
anyone on the list tried/used them with Voyage?

In short, I've got two of these cards in ALIX3D boards, Voyage v0.5.2.
Country code set to Germany (276) to display the proper 5.5-5.7GHz
channels that the XR3 uses to map to the 3.5-3.7GHz actually
transmitted. The boards are on the bench with the pigtails ~1" apart.
Initially, I was able to associate but only the first 4 channels would
associate. Then only the first channel (100) would work and now none
will associate. Scanning form the client side shows very weak signal on
any channel selected on the AP unit. Initially, I was getting in the
-40-50db range but now up in the -80s and obviously no connection.

At this point I suspect a hardware problem with these radios as there
are no error messages of any kind. I have replaced the XR3s with an
XR5 in one unit and a Wistron CM11 in the other and can associate on all
channels with consistent iperf tests ~30+mbs.

I will be calling Ubiquiti today but would be interested in others'
experience in any case.

Regards,

Edwin
