That's good to know.  I'll keep an eye out for NAT issues when using .6.
 Shorewall is a great tool for building iptables rules including for NAT
so it could be used instead.

Well if it works elsewhere then OK.  It just didn't look like the
examples I had seen before.

Again, consider Shorewall.
