[Voyage-linux] RW/RO File System

Thanks Darryl,

We're generally running 2GB cards on all our systems just because it gives
us plenty of scope to grow into so borrowing a few megs as a scratch area
isn't going to be a problem at all.

I'm starting to like this idea and think I might play around with it a
little later today,

Cheers for all the advice guys,

Rob

Yes, that will work perfectly. We create a separate on most of our systems
that can be used for persistent scratch.

The Voyage root file system generally only needs 128Mb, or 256Mb if you
leave a tonne of space to grow into, so if you are using 512Mb or larger
drives you can partition the drive and have the remainder as your scratch
area. (One of the systems we run Voyage on has an 8Gb flash SATA device).

Regards
Darryl
