Well Hello all.
I have been lurking for a few weeks..I must say a big thanks too the developers Of Voyage..I came across it a few weeks ago .Excellent embedded Debin with apt-get..the sky is the limit..
So I got some cheap mini atx board out of a maxspeed thin client viaC3 800mhz nothing fancy...I had too recompile a kernel too give me snd_cmpci..it took a few goes as i am new too this but with a bit of cp and moving files i got it too work...i used mplayer too catch a URL (yes it is a big package for listening to a url!)anyone with any other ideas for a player
.i added mplayer URL ....
to /etc/rc.local..to get the music playing after boot up ..must say it works well!...also thanks too punky for all the work also i added a NMP-8602 ..which works well i even found some info on disabling diversity via sysctl.as i only have the one wifi antenna... .I know alot of people use voyage for wifi/APs etc..but it this little distro has endless capabilities!..

just one question..i have another sff board with a national semi GX1 300mhz on it (out of a maxterm 5140)..i tried current-voyage...it loads grub trys too load initrd.img

then stops at the bottom of the screen i get

Int 6: CR2 00000000 err 00000000 EIPc0366973 cs 00000060 flags 00010012
stack: awhole bunch of numbers letters...

the unit had wince on a 32mb int cf card...it has a SST 29EE020 256kb flash rom on board bios...i have tried a million and one key combos too get in the bios. but no luck...very little info out there.on the unit ...there is a biostar emblem on the board and part nos that offer no leads!...but if it boots the wince flash card and reads grub there maybe hope.?do i need a different kernel ??

any helps tips or ino would be greatly appreciated!..
thanks again all
Simon Clare
