[Voyage-linux] Extreme asymmetry/poor throughput on link

Jan,

Thanks for the suggestion. This is about as clear as it gets so am
pretty sure it's not LOS/fresnel. I can possibly move one end point
around a little to see. The other is on a water tank. Kind of hard to
move. :-)

I had read somewhere that some of the early ALIX boards had some
problems with two cards but can't find that reference now. Pascal
Dornier has sent out a change notice to add one capacitor to the 3Cs for
handling high power cards and this board does not (yet) have that
added. Not sure what the behavior I should observe if there is a power
supply problem. I'd expect something like rebooting or lockups but so
far the board has been very stable. I even did and ifdown on the card
that wasn't part of the tested link. Does that reduce it's power
drain? I'd think so but don't know by how much.

Too cold for the next couple of days to climb the tank but my next
iteration is to replace the ALIX with a WRAP.
