[Voyage-linux] Missing linux-headers-2.6.23-486-voyage

Bart,

I assume you are having trouble with compiling zaptel (which requires header
source).

There are two easy ways to build asterisk. First, install the zaptel module
(forget the module name, but it was mentioned in the group last month), then
just build asterisk and skip zaptel (you may still need to build libpri).

Alternatively, you can download the kernel source for voyage, copy the
running config file from /boot/config... to .config in the kernel source
directory and then do a full build. You don't have to install the new
kernel, just do a build. Next, create a link from /lib/modules/<kernel
ver>/build to your kernel source directory. At this point you should be
able to build zaptel and then asterisk. This is a little dangerous to
blindly assume that you are going to get the same headers values but works
in the voyage linux case. Make sure you are using patched voyage source and
not kernel.org source.

Be aware that zaptel has changed names recently and that the SVN head for
branches/1.4 is not always 100% stable. I am currently using 1.4.19.2 with
success.

Dean
