Mathie,

We are using Voyage Linux on 2b2 boards without issue, I would guess you are
having an installation problem.

I install Voyage using a USB CF reader on a notebook after booting the
Voyage "live"/install CD.  I had trouble using Ubuntu 8.x and found it
easier to use the bootable CD rather than figure out what the problem was
under Ubuntu.  We use 2GB CF cards but the image is well under 1GB so the
smaller cards should not be an issue.
