[Voyage-linux] setting the default gateway

Hi all,
I am trying to set the default gateway using route add default gw
192.168.1.1 eth0

After I either reboot or pull the power, reboot and do a route, the route
that I entered above is not there. I tried the remountrw - command -
remountro and still does the same.

Any tips?
