[Voyage-linux] Having trouble with DHCP settings

Hi everyone. This is my first time using Voyage and I just finished getting
through the live-cd installation. I need to set my network connections to
use the package manager, but it won't seem to accept my settings in
/etc/network/interfaces:

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

Does anyone happen to know what I must do to fix my dhcp settings? Thank you
