[Voyage-linux] 3G / GPRS

Thanks Mathias,
I've just ordered a couple of different modules from the internet to see which is going to suite me best. Can you give me a little bit more information as to how they implement? Do I have to create an application which will handle the connection for me? Or do the devices appear like a network device like Ethernet and wifi cards do?
I'm just trying to understand what work I have to do once the dongle is connected to get myself connected to the internet using it.
Thanks,
Robert

Hi!
I'm using a Siemens MC35i serial port GPRS modem and it works fine (as long as
one understands that with GPRS one need to connect to the provider and not to
any phone number). I'm not even using the included serial port but a USB to
serial adapter (ARP datacom).
