Hy Philipp,
take a look at ssmtp:
"SSMTP - A secure, effective and simple way of getting mail off a system to your mail hub. It contains no suid-binaries or other dangerous things - no mail spool to poke around in, and no daemons running in the background. Mail is simply forwarded to the configured mailhost."
maybe this is what you are looking for.
But beware, you have to supply an /etc/hosts file with your FQDN, otherwise ssmtp failes to configure on installation with apt-get.
Regards
Hermann

Betreff: [Voyage-linux] Small MTA without local spool
Hi!
I set up voyage on an alix 2c3 - and it works soooo fine. All packages
are quite up to date and very stable.
I set up the firewall with fwbuilder, installed fetchmail to get the
mails (and deliver them to the local Exchange Server).
Last point to solve: finding a very small mta not spooling the mails
local (I think creating a mail spool on a cf-card or a ramdrive isn't a
good idea ;-) ) which is able to deliver mails to an mail relay using
password-auth.
Any ideas??
Philipp
