hej,
having sound/alsa problems with my lenny (experimental) installation on my
alix3c3 board using the voyage 0.6 distro!
The previous release 0.5.2 made it on the same board on the first run!
I don't know what diagnose output I should post.
The only thing I hear is a 'click' starting alsaconf and a 'rofl' when this
script commit (modprobe) it's changes. nothing comes on speaker-test, no error
no noise...
multiple re-installions didn't take any effect.
After some research I install nearly everything:
alsa-base alsa-utils libasound2 libdb4.5 libncursesw5 libnewt0.52
linux-sound-base mime-support python python-minimal python2.5 python2.5-minimal
whiptail
alsa-modules-2.6.26-486-voyage alsa-oss libao2 libasyncns0 libaudiofile0
libavahi-client3 libavahi-common-data libavahi-common3 libavc1394-0 libfaad0
libflac8 libfreebob0 libice6 libid3tag0 libiec61883-0 libjack0 libmad0
libmikmod2 libmpcdec3 libogg0 libpulse0 libraw1394-8 libsamplerate0 libshout3
libsm6 libspeex1 libtheora0 libvorbis0a libvorbisenc2 libvorbisfile3 libx11-6
libx11-data libxau6 libxcb-xlib0 libxcb1 libxdmcp6 libxml2 x11-common libartsc0
libaudio2 libesd-alsa0 libasound2-plugins jackd pulseaudio libraw1394-doc speex
any suggestions?
many thanks in advance
