Or, you could run coreboot as a bios. It already works for alix.1d and
alix.2d3, and presumably supporting a 3d3 would not be that much work. It can
give you vga + reliable serial console redirection. Have a look at
http://coreboot.org, and ask on the coreboot at coreboot.org mailing list.
