[Voyage-linux] compiling the kernel

Gustin,

I'm using OpenSUSE, not using Debian for the build.
I don't appear to have make-kpkg available.

I copied the modules over to a voyage system, and the vmlinuz and initrd, then
updated grub/menu.lst. It starts to boot, then fails when it tries to resume from
the disks of the system on which it was built.

What do I need to do to prevent this resume?
