Hi Solomon,

I had no stability problem with the madwifi+SR9 or SR2.

Didn't measure power output directly, but received signal strength over
distances of 200-500 metres. The SR9 performed well, using 802.11b, 5MHz
bandwidth. Don't know how to select 10Mhz bandwidth.

Data rate was set to 1MHz, to maximise operating distance rather than data
throughput.

PS: At the time of using SR9 & SR2, I was using a hand-made debian,
similar to voyage, with madwifi. Now using voyage 0.6 with ath5k driver,
and CM9 (64mW) instead of SR2/SR9 (400mW). Hardware is VIA mini-ITX.
