Hello Dennis,
I wasn't able to compile the madwifi modules for the last kernel until
I switched to the svn version. With the svn version it worked fine
I'm sorry but I cannot help you with your IRQ problem.
Good luck

Hello Voyage-list!

I am running voyage since maybe two years on different platforms, mainly
ALIX and WRAP, and it does its work very well. Thanks for the great work
done by the developers!

Anyway, I got two qeustions:

1. how am I able to change the IRQs for several components? For example
I might want to change the IRQ of the audio card to another one (right
now shares it with the network-card)?
2. how did you guys get a preemption-kernel running and compile madwifi
for it? I get a compile error telling me something like this:

voyage:~/madwifi-0.9.4# make KERNELPATH=/usr/src/linux-2.6.29.4
Checking requirements... ok.
Checking kernel configuration... ok.
make -C /usr/src/linux-2.6.29.4 SUBDIRS=/root/madwifi-0.9.4 modules
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.29.4'
 CC [M]  /root/madwifi-0.9.4/ath/if_ath.o
In file included from
/root/madwifi-0.9.4/ath/../net80211/ieee80211_monitor.h:45,
                from /root/madwifi-0.9.4/ath/if_ath.c:71:
/root/madwifi-0.9.4/ath/../ath/if_athvar.h:98: error: conflicting types
for 'irqreturn_t'

Am I to hack the source of madwifi?

Kind regards and thanks a lot for answers in advance!

Dennis
