I recently did the same with an FX5621 (with 4 10/100 NIC + 2 10/100/1000 NIC,
probably the same model you used). I built the driver et131x-1.2.3-3
(downloaded from sourceforge) on voyage 0.6.0 with linux kernel 2.6.28.

The driver is loaded normally and it appears working well but when I stress
it with an hour of iperf my FX5621 stops workinkg and it freezes.

Did you notice problems with your device with havy load for the NIC?
Is your NIC working at approx 1 Gb/s?

May I ask you your deb just for a test?
