Hi,

I would assume that your kernel does boot, however you haven't configured console access to it. When setting up the debian kernel make sure to have this in the kernel options in /boot/grub/menu.lst

console=ttyS0,38400n8

This will make the kernel send all output to the serial port instead of the screen

Best Regards
Soteris

Subject: [Voyage-linux] kernel

 Hi !

A have alix3d3 board.
The voyage 2.6.26-486 kernel can boot without attached vga/monitor
The stock latest 2.6.26 debian kernel can't.

What is the difference ?
Why can't boot debian without vga ?
I probe various settings in bios, but not booting.
Thx
