Have been booting Voyage .5.2 and .6 on various cards (neither Kingston
nor Transcend) on Alix  without your issue.  FYI I format with cfisk
which I read somewhere is more reliable then fdisk.

I experienced about the same problem under 0.6.1: frequent disconnects,
getting worse over time.  This is with a Alix boards and Atheros-based
cards.  The same hardware and the same configuration under .5.2 was
fine.

I wonder what would be involved in downgrading the madwifi support in
0.6 to that in .5.2.  Would installing the .5.2 kernel and copying over
the older ath_pci.ko module be enough?
