You may also want to investigate the combination of ssh -R and autossh.
This will have your box connect to an outside box with ssh, and then
port forward a port on the remote box to your NAT'd box. autossh just
makes sure this connection is always alive.
This might be another way to meet your needs, given the limitations of a
lot of mobile providers.
