The client //should// power off by ACPI. As it seems that the client
has problems doing so APM //may// be an option. Unfortunatly APM is *not*
enabled in the voyage-kernel. So you need to rebuild the kernel and
enable it.
# uname -srvmo
Linux 2.6.26-486-voyage #1 PREEMPT Wed Jul 1 15:01:20 GMT 2009 i586 GNU/Linux
# grep -i apm config-2.6.26-486-voyage
# CONFIG_APM is not set
You can also try to add "acpi=force" to the kernel options. (There
are also other acpi-options I would try before re-compiling the kernel
but I can not help you here. Please search the web.)
