Hi Jeff,

I did install my second Linux ever using Voyage squeeze a few weeks ago also
not knowing much about Linux at all. You'll make it too!

First step was totally correct. Using a "live-CD" is IMHO the easiest way to
install a voyage system. 
After comming up, the user ist "root" and the password is "voyage". If
you're successfully logged in use  

voyage:~# voyage.update  --> Enter

Then there is a guided procedure with a routine for installing the voyage
system e.g. to your harddisk (hda).
The voyage.update programm also cares for setting up the correct filesystem
etc.
