[Voyage-linux] Clock Drift

Hi Robert,
Pascal of PCEngine email'ed me on this about clock drift. The problem
is related to mfgpt enabled in voyage kernel. CS5536 chipset uses
32768HZ clock as reference but kernel uses 1000 HZ tick. It results in
mismatch since CS5536 clock is not divisible by kernel tick, i.e.
32768HZ vs 1000HZ. His suggestion is that the kernel is either compiled
with 1024HZ kernel tick or to use append "nomfgpt" in the kernel
parameter.
As a workaround, append nomfgpt parameter seems workable. Another
solution is installing adjtimex package that uses CMOS clock as reference.
Regards,
Punky
