I usually use perl.
but when i try to compile a simple "hello word.c" I receive this message:

" hello.c:1:19: error: stdio.h: No such file or directory
hello.c: In function 'main':
hello.c:5: warning: incompatible implicit declaration of built-in
function 'printf'"

I tryed to install apt-get install build-essential but I received this
message:

debconf: unable to initialize frontend: Dialog

based frontend cannot be used. at
/usr/share/perl5/Debconf/FrontEnd/Dialog.pm line 75, <> line 11.)

Thanks
