[Voyage-linux] How to show LILO menu at ALIX?

Hi Jon,
  thank you, my LILO config is similar (I think that default timeout is set to 2 seconds, but it is not relevant. The difference between LILO and GRUB is, that GRUB displays its menu by default, but LILO waits for timeout without displaying its menu. To display LILO menu on standard console it waits for Shift key press. Then user can select item from menu and boot non-default kernel.
  ... and I ask if someone know how to send this "Shift pressed" event via serial console, or if any other workaround works.
