There is a serial port, which is used instead of VGA as console.
Connect serial port to a PC using a so called null-modem cable, start
a terminal program (wIndos: hyperterm, Linux: minicom, seyon,
gtk-term, etc), set speed to 38400bps, 8-bit, no parity, 1 stop bit
and no flow-control.
Now when you boot the alix you will see post and boot messages
