For 0.6.2, you can use apt-get to install the stock samba package from
debian repository, and then move /var/lib/samba to tmpfs, and create a
symlink to it. Like:
mv /var/lib/samba /var/tmp/samba
ln -s /var/tmp/samba /var/lib/samba
No need to fiddle with scripts, the voyage scripts will take care of keeping
it from reboots. Now you can keep the root fs read only.

How would I go about adding folders to that script? exactly where do I add
them?
btw, I have 0.6.5 and smbpasswd is found in /usr/bin/ I dunno if that makes
a difference.
Are these the only files I need to add to that script? Is there anything
else I need to do?
Thanks,
