Hi All!
Would like to report problem with latest beta release - 0.6.5
I've made a CF bootable using voyage.update script from debian under
virtualbox.
All went fine, selected General PC profile and tried to boot from that CF in
Neoware EON-4000S Thin Client, which is built on GeodeGX1 CPU and CS5530
chipset.
No luck, boot hangs at mounting root filesystem.
Scrolling up in console output I've found ide driver initialization strings
-
Uniform Multi-Platform IDE Driver
ide-dg version 1.18
and nothing more... no hda detection.
While I remember that 0.5.2 voyage had successfully boot on same hardware
but ide driver was different, older one - Uniform Multi-Platform IDE Driver
7.00alpha2.
I've built custom kernel with cs5530 support and sure - no problem at boot.
Perhaps ide-dg driver needs some arguments to be passed at boot time.
I didn't found any info on the web.
Thats all I have to report.
Have a nice day!
