Hello folks,
I have the folloowing situation here.
I have installed a Voyage 0.6.5 on an ALIX 2D13. All working good so far.
Now I would like to be able to use it as the "blueprint" of future Alix
installs, meaning I can simply run the "/etc/init.d/voyage-pxe start 38400"
and another blank ALIX board will boot from PXE. Afterwards running e.g.
voyage.update and everything is done. That is the scenario I have in mind.
It would actually help me a lot in maintenance and setting up new ALIX
systems with Voyage.
So what I could get so far is starting the PXE boot server on the already
configured system.
The blank system connected to the same switch recognizes the boot server and
attempts to start. Works so far. Booting up and in the end the simple
problem, that the "/live/image/" directoy is, of course, empty. Thus now
BusyBox gives me the news that live-initramfs:
"No supported filesystem images found at /live."
So how to resolve this issue? How could I possibly create the necessary
content to get it booted and afterwads being able to do the voyage.update
procedure?
If there is anyone out there having a clue or hint, it would be kind to
assist me here, as I am getting more and more stuck with this topic.
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Markus
