[Voyage-linux] /etc/default/voyage-util - sync single file?

Hi folks.
I'm utilizing the VOYAGE_SYNC_DIRS variable in /etc/default/voyage-util to
store files in memory and have them sync'd occasionally.
My question - is it possible to indicate only a single file should be
writable?
I'd like the /etc/timezone file to be writable and don't want to include all
of the /etc directory.
Thanks.
