[Voyage-linux] Offtopic: Can I use 2x2 mimo 5.8GHz omni antenna for "normal" 5.8Ghz band?

Can I use a 2x2mimo (5.8GHz) omni (like ubnt airmax omni) for a "normal" 
5.8GHz voyage system without mimo i.e. CM9 etc.
Are there any known problems, any hints?
