Kim-man,...
Please explain something to me...
Why did you or the development team decide to remove UDEV. Since this
decides how the interfaces are named in regards to the mac addresses. If
UDEV is not to be used, then I need to know where on the system the mac
addresses are stored.
What does some one do if the have hundreds of these systems to role out and
cloning them is the appropriate way to do so. If the interfaces are renaming
because of the hardware addresses not being the same, how does some one fix
this issue.
This information is something that is *MISSION CRITICAL* to the state of
this project. Our software depends on the ethernet and wlan interfaces being
eth0, wlan0 and wlan1.
PLEASE ADVISE!!!
Thank you,
John
