[Voyage-linux] 0.8.0_amd64 gives "XZ-compressed data is corrupt"

Hi:

I burnt 0.8.0 amd64 image as root in a separate ubuntu machine using
the instructions at
http://linux.voyage.hk/content/getting-started-v08x. I am installing
in a SD flash.

First, the bootloader is installed in partition 1 instead of the MBR
making me to press any key to read the bootloader. I tried to install
the bootloader to /dev/sdc instead of /dev/sdc1 (represented by
numerical value of 1) at step 4, it does not recognize either
numerical value of 0 nor /dev/sdc, but throws errors like: "Which
partition is used for bootstrap [/dev/sdc]? 0 \n Error: Invalid
response '0' - try again" and "Which partition is used for bootstrap
[1]? /dev/sdc \n voyage-0.8.0_amd64/usr/local/sbin/voyage-install.sh:
line 125: [: /dev/sdc: integer expression expected" resepectively.

Second, when I get the grub menu and try to boot, the boot process
halts at linux image decompression stage stating "XZ-compressed data
is corrupt".

Any hints to overcome? Thanks!
