Many (most cf cards?) have hardware wear leveling.
Aside of that you can mount a usb stick via /etc/fstab to /var/lib/mysql
(permanently and with rw flag) and copy or move the curry contents there
before. Mysql has to be stopped before doing this "stunt" obviously.
